    Privacy Policy

    Plain-English explanation of what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Written for humans, not lawyers.

    Last updated: June 10, 2026

    01

    Who we are

    This Privacy Policy is published by Socialocca LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Socialocca," "we," "us," or "our"). We operate the website at socialocca.com and a family of related products including (without limitation) Howler, Quetzal, Blu, Glyph, Watchrr, Floating Strength, and other apps published from time to time under the Socialocca brand (collectively, the "Services").

    This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If you only use our marketing website, almost none of this will apply to you. If you create an account or subscribe to one of our apps, more of it will.

    02

    What this policy covers

    This policy covers personal information we process when you:

    • Visit socialocca.com or any of our marketing or product subdomains;
    • Create an account in, or use, any Socialocca-published app;
    • Subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, or schedule a call;
    • Apply for a job or partnership; or
    • Otherwise interact with us in connection with the Services.

    Individual Socialocca apps may publish supplemental privacy notices covering details specific to that app (for example, what an app stores about a workout, a post draft, or a domain). Where there is a conflict, the app-specific notice governs for that app.

    03

    Information we collect

    We collect information in three ways:

    1. Information you give us

    • Account information. Name, email address, password (stored hashed), and any optional profile details you provide.
    • Content. Anything you create, upload, or store in a Socialocca app — posts, images, audio, project files, settings.
    • Communications. Messages you send us via email, SMS, contact forms, or scheduling tools, and our replies.
    • Payment information. If you purchase a paid product, billing details are processed by our payment processors (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

    2. Information collected automatically

    • Device and connection data. Browser type and version, operating system, screen size, language, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and referring page.
    • Usage data. Pages viewed, features used, clicks, session duration, error events, and similar interaction signals.
    • Cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies below.

    3. Information from third parties

    • Analytics and advertising platforms (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel) provide aggregate information about how visitors find and use our site.
    • Sign-in providers (if you choose to sign in with a third-party account) share the basic profile fields you authorize at sign-in.
    • Service providers who help us operate the Services may share limited operational data with us (for example, an email delivery service might report a bounce).
    04

    How we use your information

    We use personal information to:

    • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
    • Authenticate accounts and prevent fraud or abuse;
    • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
    • Respond to your messages and provide customer support;
    • Send transactional messages (receipts, security alerts, important account notices);
    • Send marketing messages where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time);
    • Understand how the Services are used so we can make them better;
    • Detect, investigate, and prevent security incidents;
    • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

    We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you create inside our apps to train third-party automated models.

    06

    How we share information

    We share personal information only in these limited situations:

    • Service providers. Vendors who help us operate the Services — hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, customer support tooling, error monitoring. They are contractually limited to using the data on our behalf.
    • Professional advisors. Lawyers, accountants, and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.
    • Compliance and safety. To comply with law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Socialocca, our users, or the public.
    • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
    • With your direction. When you ask us to share information (for example, an integration you connect).

    We do not sell personal information as that term is defined under U.S. state privacy laws, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

    07

    Cookies and similar technologies

    We use cookies, web storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and understand how visitors use our site.

    The categories we use are:

    • Strictly necessary. Required for the Services to function (e.g., session, security, load balancing).
    • Preferences. Remember choices you make like language, theme, or whether you have dismissed a banner.
    • Analytics. Help us understand usage patterns. We currently use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for this.
    • Marketing. Used to measure the performance of our campaigns. We currently use the Meta Pixel for this on our public marketing pages.

    You can control cookies through your browser settings, and on browsers that support it, through "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals (we treat GPC as an opt-out of targeted advertising where applicable).

    08

    Your rights and choices

    Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:

    • Access. Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
    • Correction. Ask us to correct inaccurate information.
    • Deletion. Ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
    • Portability. Receive your information in a portable format.
    • Restriction or objection. Ask us to restrict or object to certain processing.
    • Withdraw consent. Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time.
    • Opt out of targeted advertising and certain profiling, where applicable under U.S. state laws.
    • Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

    To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@socialocca.com. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you have an account, you can also edit or delete much of your information directly from account settings.

    You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our processing of your information violates the law.

    09

    How long we keep information

    We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide the Services, satisfy our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

    • Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period after closure to handle disputes and backups.
    • Content you create is kept until you delete it or close your account, then removed from active systems on a rolling schedule.
    • Logs and security data are typically retained for up to 12 months.
    • Billing and tax records are kept for as long as required by applicable law (commonly 7 years in the U.S.).
    10

    Security

    We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, code review, and regular dependency updates.

    No system is perfectly secure. If we ever experience a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you in line with applicable law.

    11

    International transfers

    Socialocca is based in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and possibly other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

    12

    Children

    Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact privacy@socialocca.com and we will take steps to delete it.

    14

    Changes to this policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, give you additional notice (such as an in-app banner or email). Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
