Socialocca today highlighted Sites by Socialocca, its website studio, which designs, builds, and looks after custom websites and web apps for small businesses and growing teams, with its prices published up front.
Getting a website built can feel like buying a car without a sticker price. Quotes vary wildly, timelines slip, and some owners discover later that they don't actually own their site. Sites by Socialocca takes the opposite approach.
"You should know what a website costs before you ever get on a call," said Ryan K. Hertel, founder of Socialocca. "And once you've paid for it, it should be yours."
What it costs
Builds are paid once, before building starts:
- Informational website: from $1,000
- Premium animated website: from $2,500
- Ecommerce website: from $4,000, with catalog, cart, checkout, payments, shipping, and tax
- Web app or custom backend: from $7,500, with accounts, a database, dashboards, and connections to the services you use
Every site is looked after on a managed plan covering hosting, security, and monthly update hours: Core at $49.99 a month, Grow at $99.99, Pro at $199.99, and Enterprise from $500. Plans have a three-month minimum, then run month to month. Extra work is $100 an hour, approved in advance.
How it works
Projects begin with a free discovery call, followed by a fixed-price scope. Clients see progress every week. Websites typically take two to six weeks, and web apps four to twelve.
Who owns it
Clients own their project's code once the build fee is paid in full.
