    For immediate release

Arara will let anyone run AI privately on their own computer, with 50 Founder kits for the first U.S. signups

A free-to-use local AI launcher planned for early 2027. Founder signups are open now.

    SCRANTON, Pa., Nov. 4, 2026

Socialocca today announced Arara, a free-to-use local AI launcher that will let people run AI models privately on their own computer. Arara is planned for early 2027, and signups for its first 50 Founder kits are open now.

AI assistants have become part of daily work, but most of them send every conversation to a company's servers. Many people, from writers to students to small businesses handling client details, would rather keep that work on their own machine. Arara is built for them.

"Your ideas and your notes should be able to stay yours," said Ryan K. Hertel, founder of Socialocca. "Arara is about making private, local AI something anyone can set up, not just engineers."

    What's planned

    • Arara Desk, a free download with no account needed
    • Seven modes: Write, Create, Plan, Code, Analyze, Study, and Private Notes
    • Local by default: chats and settings stay on your computer

    The Founder kit

The first 50 qualified U.S. signups can reserve a Founder Edition kit: a plug-in USB-C drive with 128 GB of storage, pre-loaded to get started. Founder kits are expected to cost $69, against a planned standard price of $99, with shipping and tax extra.

    Status

Arara is in development. Its current build is an internal prototype, and the team says it will verify how its local mode behaves before release.

    Availability

Arara is planned for early 2027. Founder signups are open at getarara.com/kit.
