    For immediate release

Watchrr keeps a free, honest eye on the internet's outages, across 228 services

A live status board for the digital world that refuses to show a service as fine when it can't actually tell.

    SCRANTON, Pa., Nov. 2, 2026

Socialocca today highlighted Watchrr, a free, live status board that keeps watch over the services people and businesses rely on every day, and is honest about what it doesn't know.

Outages, slowdowns, and regional internet shutdowns are part of life online, and most people only find out when their feed fills up with complaints. Watchrr puts the whole picture in one place: it tracks 228 services across 15 categories and refreshes every 10 to 15 minutes.

"The internet feels permanent until the day it isn't," said Ryan K. Hertel, founder of Socialocca. "Watchrr is meant to be a source of truth that keeps tabs on the digital world, so anyone can see what's actually going on without piecing it together from a dozen places."

    Honest by design

Watchrr follows one strict rule: it never judges a service's health from a signal that would look exactly the same if the service were down. When it can't get a trustworthy reading, it says the service is "not reporting" instead of painting it a reassuring green.

To get that picture, Watchrr combines:

    • Official status feeds from the services themselves
    • Independent checks for services that don't publish one
    • Internet-wide signals from Cloudflare Radar, IODA, and NetBlocks, which feed an overall "Internet Pulse" score for spotting larger and regional disruptions

What people can do with it

    • Get push and email alerts, filtered by severity
    • Search 90 days of incident history
    • Put the full-screen Watchrr Wall on a TV or second monitor

Watchrr's long-term goal is to become a trading-floor-style dashboard for the internet: outages first, then the other moving parts of the digital world, in one live view.

    Availability

Watchrr is free with no account at watchrr.app, and is supported by ads. It launched in spring 2026. Watchlists, team monitoring, and a public API are planned.
